eSIM phone checker

Pick your phone to see whether it supports eSIM, based on Apple's, Google's and Samsung's published compatibility info. Last checked 3 Nov 2026.

Check your phone

Always check your exact phone: on iPhone go to Settings > General > About and look for "Digital SIM" or "Available SIM"; on Android search Settings for "eSIM" or "Add eSIM". Dial *#06#: if an EID number shows, your phone has eSIM hardware.

Carrier-lock caveat

Even an eSIM-capable phone can't use a travel eSIM if it's locked to your home carrier. Ask your carrier to unlock it before you travel. Some regional versions also differ: Apple says most iPhones sold in mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao don't have eSIM, and some carrier-branded Android phones have eSIM switched off.
