How BLAZE compiles this

SkipRoam is compiled by BLAZE from providers' published spec sheets, plan pages and regular price checks. We don't test eSIMs hands-on, so we don't claim speed-test results.

What we compare

  • Price per GB: the plan price divided by its data, using the provider's own listing, with the date we checked it.
  • Coverage: which countries the plan covers. Regional plans are compared with buying single-country plans.
  • Network: the local operators the provider names (e.g. EE / Three / O2 in the UK), and whether 5G is listed.
  • Hotspot / tethering: whether the provider allows sharing data, and any limits it publishes.
  • Top-up: whether you can add data to the same eSIM or need to buy a new one.
  • Support: which support channels the provider publishes (chat, email, in-app) and their stated hours.

The "Best pick" on each page is the plan with the best published price per GB for a typical trip (about 10 GB+), adjusted where coverage or network clearly matters. Prices show a "Last checked" date. If we can't verify a price, we leave it out rather than guess.

Affiliate disclosure

Some links on SkipRoam (currently Airalo and Yesim) are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions don't change our rankings. Where a provider without an affiliate deal is better value (often Ubigi or Nomad), we say so and link to its official site.
